Abstract: Artificial intelligence systems are becoming an integral part of modern technical systems, while the issues of their use in agricultural machines and equipment remain insufficiently studied. The purpose of the study is to analyze research in the field of application of artificial intelligence systems in livestock farming. To achieve the goal and objectives of the study, an analysis of publications in scientific citation databases was performed. It has been established that the main areas of application of artificial intelligence systems in animal husbandry are forecasting productivity, milk quality, slaughter weight of animals, early diagnosis of animal diseases (mastitis, limb diseases), diagnosis and monitoring of animal behavior (estrus). The main economic effects resulting from the use of artificial intelligence systems within these areas have been identified. Specific recommendations are given for the use of artificial intelligence systems to increase the productivity and quality of milk, increase the accuracy of forecasting livestock production, reduce the cost of diagnosing diseases and treating animals, and reduce the culling of young animals.
