Abstract: The article examines the problems of changing the nature and content of labour of agricultural workers in the context of the use of digital technologies. The purpose of the study is to study the changes in the nature and content of labour of agricultural workers in the context of digital transformation. The results of the analysis of changes in the nature and content of labour on farms with milking robotics are presented. The work of a robotic milking operator is characterized by a decrease in the severity of labour, the impact of harmful conditions on the health of the worker, an increase in labour intensity and the number of qualification levels and complexity. A classification of changes in the nature and content of labour in agriculture as a result of digital transformation in terms of the impact on the nature of the reproduction of labour resources and working conditions is proposed. Specific recommendations are given to reduce possible negative impacts of changes in the nature and content of labour. In particular, to reduce the shortage of workers capable of mastering digital technologies in agriculture, it is necessary to change the standards for training personnel for agriculture.
