Abstract: The basic principle of operation of the market is bringing the product to the consumer. Trading infrastructure refers to key elements of the market infrastructure, as it ensures a direct access of the buyer to the goods. In 2014 the consumer market of the Amur region remained stable and was characterized by an increase in retail sales compared to the previous year. In 2014 retail trade turnover of the region amounted to 132.8 billion roubles and 3.7‰ exceeded the level of 2013. An acute problem for agricultural producers is the possibility of sales. Currently sales are made to enterprises and organizations in the market, through its own stores. The level of development of food market infrastructure has a significant impact on consumer activity of customers and their product preferences. The main directions of development of the infrastructure of the local food markets of the Amur region are: the development of chain stores of agricultural products; updating of Park of special transport to move food products; the production of innovative packaging materials; reconstruction of markets, selling food, etc. Thus, the infrastructure, ensuring continuity of the reproduction process and implementing informational, material and financial links between subjects of the market, unites the spheres of production, circulation and consumption of food commodities, and also contributes to the rational organization of the market space.
