Abstract: In the context of intensifying global competition and import substitution, the cluster model serves as an effective tool for increasing the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex. This study aims to identify and systematize the prerequisites for the creation of a specialized beekeeping cluster (subcluster) within the ecologized agro-industrial complex of the Krasnodar Region. The paper analyzes the theoretical foundations of clustering and examines domestic and foreign experience in the functioning of agro-industrial clusters. Based on statistical data and materials from the regional Ministry of Agriculture, an analysis of the current state of beekeeping in the region is carried out, identifying its key problems and potential growth points. The necessity of integrating disparate commodity producers around a leading enterprise, with the coordinating role of regional authorities, is substantiated. The results of the study can be used in the development of strategies for the development of the agro-industrial complex and the formation of regional programs to support beekeeping.
