Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of regional differentiation of organic production conditions in Russia. Based on data on the number of certified organic producers and key factors in the development of the sector, a cluster analysis was carried out, which made it possible to identify four clusters differing in the degree of development of organic agriculture. The regions with the most favorable conditions for the development of organics, as well as systemic barriers hindering its spread in the lagging regions of Russia, have been identified. Based on a comparative analysis of soil-climatic, environmental, infrastructural, innovative and socio-economic factors, it was concluded that the state of organic agriculture in Russia is characterized by significant spatial differentiation, and development prospects are determined by the degree of integration of institutional, investment and agrotechnological drivers in regions with different natural resource potential. potential. The results of the study made it possible to substantiate the directions of agricultural policy measures and can be used in the development of regional support programs for organic producers.
