Abstract: The role of consulting activity is shown in article in innovative development of agrarian and industrial complex, its purpose, a task and the principles of functioning, the main trends and problems in functioning are shown. Conceptual approaches and the principles of formation are proved, and also the essence and the maintenance of the organizational and economic mechanism of development of consulting activity in agrarian and industrial complex are revealed. In structure of this mechanism organizational and economic blocks, and also instruments of realization of actions which belong to macro - meso - and to microlevels are allocated. Development of regional programs of its development containing concrete calculations for each action, terms is necessary for effective use of means of federal and regional budgets on ensuring functioning of information and consulting service, performers. Methodical approaches to formation of the organizational economic mechanism of development of consulting activity in agrarian and industrial complex will allow to exercise judgment in a question of its improvement, increase of efficiency of consulting activity in agrarian and industrial complex.
