Abstract: The article examines the factors of the development of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the context of the transformation of the global economy and the intensification of geoeconomic turbulence. The article analyzes the importance and place of the AIC in the economies of the EAEU countries, the foreign economic significance of the agricultural markets of the member states, as well as the levels of self-sufficiency in food and the export potential of the Union. Special attention is given to the scientific and technological cooperation of the EAEU countries in the field of agriculture, digitalization, import substitution, and the introduction of innovative technologies. The article shows the place of agriculture in the EAEU countries in the global economy and its role in ensuring regional and global food security. The key factors of integration of the agro-industrial complex – institutional, economic, technological, and geopolitical – are substantiated, which determine the formation of the EAEU as one of the centers of power in the global economy.
