Abstract: For increase of efficiency of activity of farms improvement of the economic mechanism of the managing, the applied mechanism (system of subsidizing, insurance, pricing and crediting) in many respects the general both for the agricultural organizations, and for farms is of particular importance. Practice showed that it is far imperfect and doesn't provide high and steady rates of development of agriculture. The author offers the main changes in the economic mechanism in the following directions: decrease in inflation and price policy; state support of development of production (crediting, insurance, subsidizing), cooperation, food aid, export stimulation, development of rural territories. The author hopes that at executive and legislature there will be enough understanding of rural problems and resources to make the decision on cardinal change of a situation. For this purpose it is necessary to increase efficiency of available production potential and allocated resources, and to give to scientists deeper justifications on improvement of an agrarian policy.
