Abstract: One of the most noticeable trends in recent years is the steady growth in its production volumes. Global demand for soy products, whether it's oil, protein for the food and beverage industry, soy meal for feed, or soy isoflavones for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries continues to increase. This encourages producing countries to increase their acreage, improve cultivation technologies, and increase soybean yields. Latin American countries, in particular Brazil and Argentina, which are world leaders in the production and export of soybeans, play a special role in this. In recent years, the United States of America, Brazil and Argentina have remained key players in the global soybean market. These countries, due to favorable climatic conditions, extensive agricultural lands and developed production, technological and logistical infrastructure, dominate global production. However, there is also a tendency to increase soybean production in other regions, particularly in Asia, where countries such as China and India are seeking to improve their food security and reduce dependence on imports. Today, Russia is confidently among the world's largest soybean producers due to the consolidation of government support measures for agricultural producers, the commercialization of scientific, breeding and production developments, innovative and technological renewal of the industry, increased demand for vegetable protein, increased exports and international cooperation. Under these conditions, Russia has the necessary advantages to occupy a decent market segment, offering international partners unique varieties and high-quality products (environmentally friendly and GMO-free). Active economic integration and international cooperation will be a key success factor for domestic producers.
