Abstract: The relevance of implementing precision farming systems for growing sunflowers within the framework of a resource-saving farming system has been substantiated: positive impact on soil fertility; maintaining the ecological balance; and saving resources. An algorithm for implementing a precision farming system in sunflower production has been proposed, consisting of five key stages. An estimate of the costs associated with implementing a precision farming system has been compiled (in relation to the activities of an agricultural enterprise), with a total cost of 13,242.6 thousand rubles. The calculation of production cost and investment costs from the implementation of the precision farming system in the practice of LLC RegionPromProduct. Thus, the total amount of costs (together with investment investments) will be 185206.8 thousand rubles. The effect of implementing the precision farming system in the practice of RegionPromProduct LLC has been identified. The average annual increase in the yield of sunflower oilseeds was 23.5%, the reduction in fuel and lubricant costs was 34.7%, the saving of seeds using differentiated seeding rates was 11%, the saving of fertilizers using differentiated application rates was 12.9%, and the saving of plant protection products using differentiated application rates was 7.5%. It was revealed that if all the proposed measures are successfully implemented, RegionPromProduct LLC will receive a gross profit of 176.7 million rubles. from the cultivation and sale of sunflower seeds, and the gross profitability of costs will be 95%, which will result in a positive economic effect. The analysis conducted allowed us to conclude that there is a significant synergistic effect from the integrated implementation of elements of precision farming. The impact on the resource-saving system is cumulative. Precision farming adds to this the intellectual savings (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides) through optimization. As a result, a closed loop is formed: the saved resources are transformed into an additional financial resource, which is reinvested in further increasing the efficiency and environmental friendliness of the system.
