Abstract: It is shown that against the backdrop of large-scale economic transformations, sanctions restrictions, and technological rivalry, achieving technological sovereignty has become a top priority for our country. Based on a combination of methods and sources used in technology level analysis, this paper explores several initial segments that contain a priority technological vector. It is substantiated that the considered basic segments serve as a means of achieving an appropriate level of technological sovereignty through the formation of a domestic policy aimed at achieving technological sovereignty as a key component of state economic policy. It is concluded that Russia's technological sovereignty remains susceptible, which requires the elimination of systemic barriers through a coordinated policy of government agencies and the private sector, and the transition from local import substitution to the construction of innovative technological segments integrated into the system of security and economic development.
