Abstract: The article examines the efficiency of using the capital of the largest agricultural enterprises in the Ulyanovsk Region and analyzes the structure of their capital, taking into account the industry-specific features. The relevance of the work is due to the key role of the capital structure in ensuring the financial stability, solvency, liquidity, and profitability of agricultural organizations. The optimal ratio of own and borrowed funds directly affects the continuity and efficiency of agricultural production. The results can be useful for the heads and financial managers of agricultural enterprises, investors, and researchers in the field of agricultural economics for further study of the issues of optimizing the capital structure and increasing the financial stability of agricultural organizations.
