Abstract: This article addresses the issue of scientific and technological support for agricultural production in the current geopolitical context. President Vladimir Putin has set a course for technological independence and technological leadership for the domestic economy. This requires the development of new approaches within various paradigms of systemic reproduction methodology applied to the agricultural sector, along with mechanisms for their implementation. It is noted that an ecosystem approach has recently become increasingly popular in methodological research, facilitating a comprehensive study of interactions and interconnections within socioeconomic systems. It is demonstrated that agricultural production and the biological ecosystem are closely interrelated and structurally comprise functional and organizational-economic subsystems. It is also demonstrated that the organizational-economic subsystem of any agricultural organization should be considered as consisting of two subsystems: production and financial. By combining incoming resources in certain proportions and consuming them, the enterprise produces and sells its products. New approaches to scientific and technological support for agriculture have been identified. They are aimed at increasing the economic efficiency of the domestic agricultural sector and its modernization by accelerating scientific and technological progress in the industry. Depending on the classification characteristics of the object of study, its components must include development entities, the direction and sequence of stages, factors (external and internal), and target quantitative parameters for developing subsectors. Unlike accepted approaches, this distinction between components takes into account not only general dependencies but also specific factors inherent to the agricultural sector. This paper examines positive practices in implementing approaches to scientific and technological support for the agricultural sector of the economy. A roadmap for scientific and technological support for the industry has been developed and proposed for implementation, identifying domestic structures for the time stages of its implementation.
