Abstract: This article examines the national sunflower oil market, characterizing the area under cultivation, average yield, and processing capacity. It also analyzes trends in sunflower seed yield and processing, examines industry supply by region, and identifies market leaders. The impact of breeding and agricultural technologies on increasing the yield of hybrid sunflower crops is substantiated. State support instruments for agricultural producers, implemented within the framework of national development programs, are examined. Trends in sunflower oil exports on the global market are identified, and factors hindering increased supplies to a number of foreign countries are highlighted. Prospects for developing resource potential, supporting domestic sunflower oil production, are substantiated. These studies may be of scientific interest to agricultural producers, investors, and enterprises in the oil and fat industry in formulating strategies for further development.
