Abstract: The features and factors of the formation and use of the resource potential of agricultural organizations have been identified and systematized, which allowed for the development of an algorithm for a comprehensive study of the availability and efficiency of the resource potential of agricultural organizations. The resource potential of agricultural organizations is characterized by a complex system of indicators that are interconnected and interdependent. A comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the dynamics of the resource potential requires a step-by-step assessment of each type of resource, identifying its impact on both the overall result and other resources. To assess the dynamics of the availability and efficiency of resource potential in agricultural organizations in the Ulyanovsk region over the past ten years, according to the proposed methodology, private indicators were calculated, and on their basis, single, group, and integral indices were calculated to characterize the level of resource potential availability and its efficiency. The use of the results of the developed methodology for the integral assessment of the resource potential of agricultural organizations allowed for a comprehensive understanding of the priority areas and factors that will determine the more complete use of the available resource potential in the industry.
