Abstract: The stability and timeliness of providing agricultural production with financial (credit) resources is carried out through the formed financial and credit infrastructure of agriculture (hereinafter referred to as the FCICF), which is an element of state support for the industry. The lack of a unified approach to the definition of this concept, on the one hand, hinders the formation of the theoretical foundations and practical feasibility of the directions of this infrastructure, and on the other hand raises the question of the possibility of applying new research methods. Scientific heritage of O.V. Inshakova acted as a methodological basis in the study of the CCIC and the discovery of new facets of its substantive content. The scientist's new theory of factors of production made it possible to deepen the understanding of the composition of the FCICC, to describe the identified elements, the interactions and interrelations of which contribute to the realization of its main purpose. It is concluded that agricultural producers, due to the specifics of their activities, have predetermined the need for the formation of a financial accounting system, and human resources with accumulated knowledge and abilities contribute to the content of the totality of the factors studied (for example, participation in the formation of information resources, the adoption of laws, in the production, implementation and maintenance of technologies, in the organization of the process of providing financial (credit) products and services and others). The material and resource factor (preferential loans, grants, compensations) is an indispensable condition for the realization of the main goal of the FCICF. The events taking place in the Russian economy create new conditions for the functioning of such an infrastructure, increase the importance and necessity of changing factors, adapting and improving each one. The obtained research results not only complement the existing knowledge about the FCIC, but also specify the trajectories of its development in the context of the identified factors and conditions.
