Abstract: The issues of organizing effective agricultural production in the context of sanctions pressure on the country's economy are a determining factor in ensuring its food security and determine the increasing importance of determining the scientific foundations for creating an institutional environment that determines the productive nature of resource consumption and the sustainable development of the agricultural sector of the economy. At the same time, the requirements of the country's technical and technological sovereignty determine the use of digital technologies in agricultural production, in which the human role in the system of industrial relations is changing, the rational use and preservation of land and natural potential is ensured, climate changes are taken into account, and positive dynamics in rural development is ensured. The production complexes used in agriculture reflect modern trends in the functioning of automated information systems, the transformation of the human role as one of the decisive factors ensuring an acceptable level of efficiency of agricultural production, the harmonization of industrial relations, productive consumption of resources, increasing the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex, the formation of the basis of the institutional environment for sustainable rural development.
