Abstract: The analysis of the country's agricultural economic development was performed based on the values of value production and newly created value over the past ten years (2015-2024). The analysis used Rosstat data on gross value added, which is the basis for calculating the gross domestic product, as well as data on the national economy as a whole and the economic activity of "Crop production and animal husbandry, hunting, and related services" to characterize the volume of newly created value. The value produced at the national and agricultural levels is included in the output of goods and services. A theoretical justification is given for the share of newly created value in the structure of the volume of production of goods and services as a reflection of the level of technological efficiency of the economy or industry. The ratio of the newly created value to the total value has been determined, which has been decreasing slightly in agriculture over the analyzed decade, but generally exceeds the national values. The financial results of the organizations are analyzed (in particular, in terms of the netted balance). The growth rate of financial results of organizations engaged in agriculture and hunting has lagged behind similar indicators in the whole country.
