Abstract: This article presents the results of an analysis and assessment of the development prospects for the "blue economy" in Kamchatka Krai. The relationship between the "blue economy" model and other sustainable economic models—green, circular, low-carbon, and bioeconomies—is identified. A structuring of the "blue economy" model by components—resource, economic, social, organizational and institutional—as well as individual sectors within these components is proposed. The investment prospects for the region's "blue economy" are highlighted in the context of an analysis of Kamchatka Krai's investment rating. The work of existing institutions supporting "blue" economic activities is also analyzed.
