Abstract: The article presents the results of a study of the innovative and investment development of agriculture in Russia in the context of increasing global challenges such as climate change, sanctions restrictions and growing demand for food. An integrated approach was used, combining the analysis of statistical data, surveys of specialists, as well as econometric models to assess the correlation between investment and productivity. Special attention is paid to the Krasnodar Territory as a model region, where trends in the growth of capital investments and intensification of crop production have been identified, despite the shortage of own funds and outdated technology. It has been established that innovations, including digitalization and biotechnology, can minimize risks by increasing yields in pilot projects. A system for assessing innovation provision, an algorithm for development strategy, and a correlation and regression model that predicts gross product at various costs have been developed. There are three clusters of enterprises in terms of innovation and investment structure, with an emphasis on cluster 2 as a leader in profitability. The results confirmed the hypothesis that increased investment minimizes threats and increases efficiency. A set of measures has been proposed to optimize the investment environment, which will allow agriculture not only to adapt to challenges, but also to contribute to global food stability. It has been proven that targeted investments can increase the profitability of agricultural enterprises, contributing to the socio-economic recovery of rural areas.
