Abstract: The relevance of studying the formation of agrotechnological classes is caused by the need to meet the personnel needs of agriculture through early profiling and practice-oriented training, strengthening the prestige of agricultural professions. The purpose of the study is to analyze the prospects for the development of agrotechnological classes as the most important factor in improving agricultural education. The research methods used are a synthesis of normative, statistical and qualitative analysis with a focus on the practical applicability of the findings for educational policy. The key criteria for the formation of the technological base of agro-technological classes, which include innovation, practical significance and scalability, are defined. The analysis of the specialization of agro-technological classes and their relationship with the personnel needs of the agro-industrial complex is carried out. The core of the technological equipment of agro-technological classes by specialization is determined. Specific recommendations are given on the need for comprehensive integration of agro-technological classes with the real sector through partnership with agricultural producers for internships, strengthening the material and technical base and joint development of training programs. To neutralize technological threats, it is necessary to create network laboratories with shared access to equipment and accelerate the import substitution of sensors and software.
