Abstract: The article presents the results of the analysis of the current state of the egg market in the Republic of Crimea, determines the dynamics of changes in the state of supply and demand under the influence of a number of external factors, identifies leading manufacturers, and characterizes the regional resource potential. The main activities implemented within the framework of state support for regional agricultural producers are analyzed. The features of agreements implemented in order to stabilize prices for egg products are noted, and the characteristics of the requirements for producers and sellers of egg products are given. Based on price observations, a characteristic of the price offer is given, taking into account the current agreements. The factors that have a negative impact on the growth of egg production in the region are substantiated. The directions for further development of poultry farming in the Republic of Crimea are defined, the necessity of expansion of the instruments of state support of agricultural producers in order to increase egg production and increase the number of egg-laying poultry breeds is substantiated. This study may be of scientific and practical interest to specialists operating in the direction of poultry farming, wholesale and retail trade of egg products and other agricultural products.
