Abstract: The agro-food complex of Russia is characterized by high production potential for technological transformation and innovative growth. The innovative scenario of agricultural development assumes wide use of resource-saving technologies, biotechnology and precision farming, as well as genetic resource management systems in the near future. However, the observed discrepancy between the innovative components limits the possibilities of long-term sustainable growth and technological transformation of the agricultural sector. The article presents a study of the innovative development of agrosystems. The issues of strategic management of the innovative development of agrosystems are studied. The compilation of theoretical and methodological approaches of Russian and foreign scientists was based on the theory of formation of national innovation systems, as well as the theory of support and decision-making. A cognitive model of innovative development of the agrosystem was formed, including 7 concepts, a fuzzy cognitive map was built using the Software For Fuzzy Cognitive Modeling software product. When analyzing the cognitive model of innovative development of the agrosystem, the target concept C4 "Labor productivity per person employed in agriculture, million rubles" was identified, which is most susceptible to influence. It is necessary to take into account the presence of significant regional differences in the provision of innovative resources and the ability to produce innovative goods, which confirms the imbalance of the elements of the agrosystem and predetermines the need to improve the existing mechanisms for planning and coordinating its elements.
