Abstract: The article examines the prospects for exporting organic products from Russian regions to the Chinese market, using the Republic Sakha (Yakutia) as a case study. It analyzes current trends in the development of global and Chinese organic markets, with China's market volume reaching €12.6 billion in 2023. Particular attention is paid to the requirements of the Chinese GB/T 19630 standard, which significantly differs from international norms through its prohibition of parallel production and strict traceability requirements. The study reviews initial results of Russian-Chinese cooperation, including the work of the Harbin Center for Promoting Russian Organic Products and participation in Biofach China 2024. The article presents Yakutia's potential directions in organic production and identifies key barriers. Finally, it proposes measures to develop organic production, including establishing a regional certification system and concluding a bilateral agreement on mutual recognition of standards.
