Abstract: The study presented an adapted four-block mechanism for the development of dairy cattle breeding in the Saratov region based on the use of innovative technologies within the process approach. Its basis is the integration of robotics and automation of livestock processes with on-farm systems, the use of automated digital herd management technologies that facilitate the processing and monitoring of large volumes of data in real time for all livestock processes, reducing losses and risks through timely monitoring of animal health problems, enabling rapid adoption of effective management decisions, cost control and increased labor productivity on the farm. The author identified and examined three leading farms in the region for the innovative technologies used in the context of functional processes in dairy cattle breeding. This work uses a systematic approach determined by the range of tasks set, using the following research methods: synthesis, analysis, systematization, economic and mathematical, statistical, monographic, and tabular method of visualizing analytical information. The practical basis for the study was agricultural enterprises of the Saratov region engaged in dairy cattle breeding. The main results of the study can be useful for scientific organizations, governing bodies of the agro-industrial complex at the federal, regional and municipal levels.
