Abstract: The results of a study of the input document stream to the AGROS database (DB) conducted at the FSBSI CSAL in 2019-2023 are presented. The AGROS database was chosen as an information base for the study, as it is the largest Russian-language sector-specific database on agricultural problems, reflecting domestic scientific publications with the greatest possible completeness, including book and article material from domestic and foreign sources. Its software and linguistic tools make it possible to obtain various kinds of bibliometric data. Monitoring was carried out on separate thematic microflows of documents in order to: assess the condition of the object in the surveillance environment; identify trends and forecast its development. An analysis of individual thematic document microflows was carried out according to the following indicators: quantitative change in the document stream over the years; thematic distribution of the document stream. During the monitoring study, the indicators remained constant and measurable. The results of the study on the largest microflows are presented. It was established that during the study period the largest number of documents was received in 2019, followed by a decline (in 2020), which peaked in 2021. This decline can most likely be attributed to the onset of the pandemic in March 2020 and related restrictions in Russia, which lasted until May 5, 2023, when the end of the pandemic was announced. The sanctions affected the flow of documents from foreign countries for document exchange, and unfriendly countries stopped supplying them. Since documents from foreign publications occupied a significant part of the document stream, their decrease affected the quantitative indicators of the document stream as a whole and its micro-flows. The new paradigm, based on the use of information technologies for data processing and digital innovations, has changed priorities in scientific research, which has also affected the quantitative ratio of documents by subject.
