Abstract: Climate change is one of the most significant global challenges, directly affecting the agri-food sector and related industries. The increasing frequency of extreme weather events, shifts in agroclimatic zones, and other consequences necessitate the development of systemic adaptation measures. The relevance of this study stems from the need to apply scientifically grounded approaches to managing climate risks, especially under conditions of high uncertainty and regional specificity. This article explores the methodological aspects of climate change adaptation in the agri-food sector. The study synthesizes key principles of climate risk management based on systemic and interdisciplinary approaches. The author develops a phased model of the adaptation process, including data collection, vulnerability analysis, risk assessment, strategy formulation, implementation, and monitoring. Special attention is given to effective adaptation management, combining strategic planning with operational responses to climate threats. An important theoretical contribution of this work is the analysis of the institutional dimension of adaptation. A multilevel planning system is proposed, integrating national, regional, sectoral, and farm-level mechanisms to ensure coordination among all stakeholders. The research results provide a scientifically grounded basis for developing agri-food sector adaptation strategies that promote sustainable development amid global climate change.
