Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of mechanisms of state regulation of agro-industrial complex development in the conditions of sanctions for the last three years. The article considers the negative consequences of the sanctions pressure connected with the restriction of imports, reorientation of sales markets, and positive aspects of post-sanctions state regulation in the direction of strengthening the stimulation of import substitution, development of own production, innovations, modernization of production. The features of state regulation in modern conditions, aimed at mitigating the negative impact of sanctions, stimulating sustainable balanced development of all sectors of agriculture and ensuring food security of the country, are revealed. The efficiency of the adaptive approach to the adoption and implementation of anti-sanctions measures of state support in the period of the most severe manifestation of sanctions is noted. The necessity of further adjustment and improvement of mechanisms of state regulation of activity of subjects of agrarian business, use of modified mechanisms of state support in the form of subsidies, preferential crediting, financing of personnel renewal, development of small forms of management, stimulation of innovations and modernization of enterprises of agrarian and industrial complex is offered.
