Abstract: It is advisable to study issues of regional support for agricultural producers within subjects with similar natural, climatic and economic-geographical conditions. Its implementation is necessary to assess the effectiveness of existing support systems in order to adjust further actions, as well as to identify best practices in terms of regional support. This paper analyzes the effectiveness of support systems at the expense of regional budgets in the regions of the Siberian Federal District with the best indicators in terms of gross agricultural production. An analysis of the effectiveness of financial support is proposed by comparing the growth rates of gross production and financial support. It is also proposed as an estimated indicator that makes it possible to judge the change in the return from support systems, the coefficient of elasticity of gross agricultural production depending on the change in financial support. Based on the results of the work, regions within the Siberian Federal District with the most effective support systems were identified, on the basis of which conclusions were formulated.
