Abstract: The study highlighted the features of intersectoral relations in the system of import and export of agricultural products and food, including export, by region and federal districts. For agricultural products, the coefficients for assessing interregional exchange are calculated according to Rosstat data for 2023. The northern, Caucasian regions and cities of St. Petersburg, Sevastopol do not have their own production and export. Moscow has the largest import and, accordingly, the largest turnover coefficient. Among the regions with significant export of agricultural products (grain, livestock and poultry, milk), Kaluga and Oryol regions are in the lead. The import, export, and food turnover coefficients for federal districts show an import equal to one for sugar in the Central, Far Eastern, Ural federal districts, a high turnover coefficient in the Northwestern Federal District for cereals (12.14) and sugar (97.91), a high export coefficient for meat in the North Caucasian federal district (1.78), for vegetable oil in the Ural federal district (1.42). The results obtained will become the basis for determining optimal transport flows of products, locating new processing industries, optimizing price proportions in agri-food chains.
