Abstract: The article considers the impact of state support on the scale of production and financial results of regional agrosystems. The purpose of the study: to assess the impact of state support for agriculture on the development of agriculture in the regions of Russia in order to achieve sustainable growth. An analysis of the current forms and methods of state support for agriculture is presented. Based on the correlation and regression analysis, an assessment of the impact of state support on the dynamics of gross added value in agriculture was carried out. A fairly high correlation coefficient (0.7-0.8%) confirmed the presence of a close relationship between the level of state support and the volume of agricultural production. Regression analysis calculations showed that an increase in state support funds by 1% leads to an increase in the volume of agricultural production by 45.2 million rubles. Using the example of 82 regions of Russia, they were classified according to the indicator of the level of state support per unit of gross added value of agriculture, identifying 4 groups of regions. In 2023, per 100 rubles of produced goods in farms of all categories, there were 2.2 rubles of subsidies and transfers, and by region - from 0.1 rubles (Chelyabinsk Region) to 24.5 rubles (Altai Republic). The study showed that many regions lack the necessary conditions for expanded reproduction, which requires improving the mechanisms of state support for agriculture.
