Abstract: The article examines the effectiveness of sugar beet production at the present stage. It was found that under favourable natural and economic conditions for the production of sugar beet, the financial condition of most beet-growing farms in the Lipetsk region is unsatisfactory, and the available material and technical resources are not able to ensure the introduction of the latest technologies and meet the needs of the technological production process at an optimal level. Therefore, the transition to intensive production technology at the expense of manufacturers' own capabilities will be protracted. It is proved that the proposed system of economic relations and relations between the participants of integrated formation in sugar beet production should provide mutual benefit, mutual interest of the parties in sources of replenishment of missing resources, and its unifying goal should be to increase the final product and increase the profitability of the integrated system.
