Abstract: Cluster analysis is used to determine the interconnectedness of rural development and agricultural production. For calculations, indicators were used that characterize rural areas - the size of the rural population, the state of agricultural production and its efficiency - gross agricultural output, profitability of crop and livestock production, the degree of development of entrepreneurship - the turnover of organizations of the type of activity "Agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming." The method of Ward and k-means was used, which made it possible to distinguish three groups of regions. The results of clustering can be used when applying government support measures for the interconnected development of rural areas and agricultural sectors, stimulating the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas.
