Abstract: The article analyzes the factors affecting the development of horticulture and nursery, in particular environmental factors, specialization, and seedling production technologies. The efficiency of horticulture and nursery is influenced by the technologies used, the range of crops correctly selected for cultivation in a particular region and the adapted assortment. The impact of agrobiological factors on the production and economic indicators of horticultural development was assessed based on data for 2018-2021, taking into account groups and subgroups of regions suitable for the development of horticulture. Assessment of the new technology for the production of planting material for garden crops of the highest quality quality is based on the calculation of the integral competitiveness coefficient.
