Abstract: The new technological order of the IV generation dictates the active development and application of innovative solutions using digital tools in all sectors of the economy and spheres of human activity. Intelligent equipment with modern automation systems allows you to make management decisions quickly, eliminate the human factor in calculations, adjustment and control of operating modes. Digital technologies are of particular importance in agriculture, where the accuracy and timeliness of information help to preserve crop yields and use resources more efficiently. The purpose of the study is to ensure the effectiveness of precision farming using the example of the use of GPS systems in the Lenin State Farm in the Moscow region on an area of 1060 hectares. The experience of using GPS-Glonass precision positioning devices on agricultural machines makes it possible to organize parallel driving of equipment when performing mechanized work, reducing the overlap of working strokes by 75-80%. Using experimental research methods, it was possible to achieve savings in production costs by reducing the amount of mineral fertilizers, seed material and diesel fuel in the amount of one thousand rubles per hectare. The article describes other innovative technologies recommended for use in agriculture, as well as factors constraining the practical use of modern information systems.
