Abstract: The article presents the results of a study on the adaptation of the internal audit system of agribusiness organizations to the needs of management in information for the purposes of ensuring environmental safety. In modern economic conditions, an environmental issue is acute for any country in the world, which is of paramount importance in its importance, and ultimately affects all spheres of human life. The close interdependence of the degree of environmental friendliness of the production process and the costs of environmental management have prioritized the development of new tools in taxation, budgeting, and business planning. A significant role in the process of forming an effective organizational and economic strategy of agricultural organizations is played by information and analytical support systems, as well as an internal audit system. Therefore, the development of a universal system of environmental audit and monitoring is an urgent and timely aspect of the activities of agricultural organizations.
