Abstract: Now agricultural enterprises are solving not only traditional problems for the industry, such as land depletion, low yields or a lack of specialized specialists, but are also looking for new sources of investment. The solution to this problem is part of a larger goal, reflected in the Doctrine of Food Security, it’s the creation of new high-tech industries. The activation of the investment process of Russian agricultural producers is the basis of this process. This article discusses the problems of attracting investment in the region's agriculture against the backdrop of a global trend of growing investment in the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex. The author considers the sources of investment financing and directions for enhancing the investment process in the field of AgTech – digital technologies in agriculture.
