Abstract: Small forms of managing occupy about 93‰ of cultivated spaces which are almost unsuitable as raw zones for existing large potatoes processing plants, and for delivery of large uniform (high-quality) consignments of washed, packed-up potatoes to large distribution networks of the country in Russia. In article prospects of production and realization of potatoes and products of its processing, the direction of increase of competitiveness of the farms making potatoes, and cooperatives are considered. The author proved need of radical structural and technological reorganization of work of branch of potato growing of agrarian and industrial complex of the Russian Federation on the basis of cooperation and integration of small forms of managing. With the agricultural production and trade cooperatives (APTC) 1,2 million commodity LPH (will be able to work with the total area of 450 thousand hectares), cultivating potatoes on the square more 0.25 ha everyone which the states with support can turn into KFH and enter SPTK.
