Abstract: The article examines the existing foreign digital platforms for solving problems of management and sustainable development of agri-food systems of various levels in the context of global climate change and adaptation to these changes. The main types of digital platforms used in the agricultural sector are highlighted. The role of government agencies in the creation and use of digital platforms has been determined. It is concluded that the state needs political and legal support for the implementation of information technologies, protection of confidentiality of data ownership, connecting small farms to platforms and low-budget remote regions and other social aspects. The most important basis for cooperation between government and business in creating information platforms in agriculture is highlighted, that with the help of this technology it is more attractive and effective than through regulation, it is possible to solve the most important problems of sustainable development: preservation of the environment, ensuring food safety, adaptation to global climate change.
