Abstract: The effect of the introduction of digitalization is already visible on the example of some industries. It is obvious that in the short term, such resource-intensive enterprises with a large array of different data, as in agriculture, will increase the use of highly efficient means to increase the yield, reduce costs, including when consuming resources, in order to increase profits and increase financial stability. The article provides a forecast of the development of the agro-industrial complex, taking into account the digitalization of the industry. A communication option involving all market participants is visualized. An example of the introduction of electronic platforms and digital products that reduce the costs of vegetable producers and increase the efficiency of all market participants who produce and deliver agricultural products to the final consumer is shown. Each link in the chain from the field to the end user is described in detail. The advantages of the proposed scheme are highlighted, taking into account inclusiveness and sustainability. Possible risks in the proposed food system are identified and hypotheses for the development of society and the economy are described.
