Abstract: The purpose of the article is to give a comprehensive assessment of the possibilities of using leasing as a material and technical support tool in the agricultural sphere on the basis of economic analysis. The study was carried out on the basis of scientific publications, official statistical materials, Internet resources in the unity of the application of theoretical and empirical methods of cognition. Methods of comparison, generalization, abstraction, induction, deduction, quantitative methods of economic analysis, tabular and graphical methods of data presentation were used. The authors considered the essence and main problems of agricultural leasing. The dynamics of economic results, the state of the park of main types of equipment in domestic agricultural organizations, the parameters of investments in fixed assets, as well as the primary problems of material and technical support in the agricultural sector were analyzed. The activities of Rosagroleasing JSC were reviewed and the main programs and financial instruments currently offered by this company to farmers were described. The advantages of leasing as a material and technical support tool are summarized. Problems of agricultural leasing have been identified; the main ways of their resolution have been outlined.
