Abstract: The article contains the main theses of performance of Dmitry Medvedev at congress of deputies of the rural settlements of Russia in April, 2014. In it questions of ensuring food security of the country, health care and education development in the rural areas, employment and life improvement of quality in the village, improvements of road and transport infrastructure, agricultural production development are considered. Russia needs other high-quality development of agrarian sector, and to people who are engaged in work in the village, normal, modern living conditions are necessary
