Abstract: Because of its characteristics, the agricultural sector needed public support. It is obvious that the existing budgetary allocation mechanism shows poor efficiency and is often aimed not at creating public goods, but at lobbying private interests. Financing of AIC entities is carried out without a clear link to the economic efficiency of organizations. The article analyses the allocation of State support funds to AIC at the regional level. The need to improve methods of selection of enterprises for subsidies and subsequent assessment of efficiency of budget investments is justified.
