Abstract: The statistical analysis approach of the efficiency of investment in regional agriculture of Russia on the basis of multidimensional classification are developed and evaluated in the published research. The approach has made it possible to estimate the efficiency of investment in regions of Russia as a multidimensional process by reference to the types of efficiency. The statistical analysis provides an opportunity to determine the groups of regions, characterized high efficiency investment activity and the regions, where investment policy should be improved. The approach under consideration is based on the principle of the economics growth stability. Government programs are ought to be aimed at both the result of investment growth in absolute terms and contribution to a stable growth and an increase of economic stability. The investment in the framework of the approach is viewed as a multidimensional process that has a significant impact on all aspects of society.
