Abstract: Financial stability of agro food system (AS) of the Russia region depends on productivity in plant growing, productivity of milk and meat production, prime cost of production of agricultural raw materials, producers and processors prices on manufactured agricultural products, population's demand for food and agricultural raw materials both within and outside region. Natural and lasting climate changes such as drought, prolonged downpours, spring floods, hhigh summer temperature may significantly reduce crop and livestock productivities. In relation to the changing climate, development of Russia region AS adaptation mechanisms is an up-to-date research area. Melioration is one of the ways of Russia region AS adaptation to climate change. Modelling of the maximization of annual profits in agricultural production taking into account use of reclaimed land allows making a significant restriction on the use of arable land in plant growing. Compiled model reflects the contribution of various crops to the annual profit estimate and the ways of extending this estimate. The model is formed as a linear programming problem. Computation is performed using the LPSOLVE Simplex Method program. The predicted annual profit on the found placement of crop cultures on land of the region was 16.78 billion roubles.
