Abstract: Innovations in the agro-industrial complex of the region are based on the investment component, unfortunately, the region has weak financial capabilities to promote innovation in agriculture, so the state financial support in this direction today is very relevant for the regional agro-industrial complex. In addition, agriculture has a number of specific features that should be taken into account in the process of innovation and that have a significant impact on innovation activity. The paper formulates the key directions of innovation activity for the regional agro-industrial complex, namely science (scientific support), technology, Commerce, financing. For the agro industrial complex of the region, the cost of innovation is extremely low, so they will not be able to have a significant impact on the state of the economy of agriculture of the region, but only give a certain impetus to innovation activity.
