Abstract: In the new paradigm greatly increased the importance of agriculture as a factor of ensuring the security of the country. In this regard, of particular relevance to assess the potential for interaction between small and large forms of agrarian business. Transition from administrative to market economy has been accompanied by transformational processes, organizational structures in agriculture. Market transformation of the initial period was characterized by the emergence of demanding new solutions to new problems of interaction of small and large forms of agrarian business. On the example of agrarian formations of the Republic of Tatarstan shows the results of the state regulation of interaction of small and large agricultural businesses, reviewed the model of interaction of small and large odds of agrarian business. The conclusion is drawn that in the long term the agrarian and industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan can be presented by the model III of type which is characterized by allocation of separate group - owners of land grounds and investors. Change of a role of personal subsidiary farms in agrarian economy is also noted. There is a replacement of income from personal subsidiary farms with the salary, change of qualitative characteristics of the human capital is observed.
