Abstract: The work assesses the equivalence of inter-branch exchange in the agro-industrial complex and the interacting branches of the national economy. The analysis of the change in the volume of production of agricultural machinery in Russia, taking into account the change in prices for machinery and their ratio to agricultural production, is analyzed. The estimation of the influence of pricing processes in the fuel and energy sectors on the efficiency of agricultural production, taking into account the change in price proportions in the Russian agro-industrial complex in the context of the policy of import substitution. The level of electricity consumption and the share of energy costs in the structure of material costs in agricultural production are estimated. On the basis of an assessment of the ratio of price level changes to the resource supply of agricultural production and agribusiness production in Russia, proposals have been made to reduce the disparity of prices and optimize inter-industry exchange in the sectors of the Russian agro-industrial complex.
