Abstract: The article highlights aspects of the quality of agricultural machinery produced in Russia, as well as the quality of fuels and lubricants, to a certain extent, affecting the process of modernization of agricultural production. The forecasted evaluation of the acquisition of agricultural machinery by agricultural producers in Russia, taking into account the dynamics of subsidies to machinery manufacturers and the volume of investments in the development of production and the development of new models. The volume of targeted use of preferential investment loans in agricultural organizations of Russia, as well as the volumes of agricultural machinery supplies on the terms of federal leasing are estimated. The structure of the system for testing agricultural machinery, as well as its regulatory and legal regulation and functional interaction with agribusiness, has been determined. Comparison of data on technical readiness of equipment and results of technical inspection, as well as comparative assessment of the quality of combustive-lubricating materials in Russia, has been compared. The conclusion is drawn that process of modernization of agricultural production in Russia has to be followed by functioning of the powerful control system of quality in the market of material resources.
