Abstract: The applied measures of the state stimulation of technical and technological modernization of agriculture of Russia at the regional level in 2016 are analysed. At the regional level subsidies for compensation of a part of costs of creation and modernization of objects of agrarian and industrial complex and acquisition of agricultural machinery and the equipment, compensation of a part of costs of construction and reconstruction of infrastructure, rendering untied support in crop production, acquisition of energy carriers, support of the beginning farmers, compensation of a part of costs of development of family livestock farms on the basis of peasant farms, retraining and professional development of employees of agrarian and industrial complex, support of scientific research in the field of agro-industrial complex are distinguished from the main measures of stimulation of modernization. Application of measures of the state stimulation of technical and technological agricultural modernization of Russia in 2016 has affected efficiency of agricultural production. It is one of the factors which have allowed achieving a record harvest of grain, increasing in production of hothouse vegetables, the cattle and a bird on slaughter and milk.
